Hay guys! For the month of October there will be lots of new Suitors artwork, revisits of old artwork (depending on which social media you follow) and new updates to the websiteSuitors - A Fall to Rise!

Suitors is an Alaskan made fantasy with multiple different endings that range from happy Disney Princess to oh my god how did we end up in Berserk or Game of Thrones!? The plan is when we launch it, there will be just three mostly family safe endings but you can get free downloadable patches for the more exotic, brutal, and/or lewd endings after purchase of the initial game or we will have two versions all together, one that is family safe with multiple endings and one that is not with more adult themed and content heavy multiple endings. We're still working out some of the details with both or coder and publisher.

I have a lot of people asking how much goes into the sprite designs and other artworks for Suitors so thought I'd share some pages from the sketchbooks. I put a lot of attention in detail in both the clothing and accessories and tools because even though this is fantasy, I want things to still be believable and to match the individual character's personality and skills in addition to the culture and type of people they come from. Even things like swords and the fighting styles of each character get thought out. How much of all that will actually end up in the game is another matter. But for Cameron, we wanted to show how unusually strong she is but still have a sword that could be used in a fencing style and still look royal and a touch old fashioned. Her sword was probably custom made, and as a prince that probably was not an uncommon thing. So taking inspiration from both fencing and calvary swords as well as various designs found on myArmoury.com, Kult of Athena, and Darksword Armory we settled on a two handed Swiss saber with a ring and sweep hilt combo plus knuckle bow and crown like pummel. And me being me, I had to study how it would look from multiple different angles before its final conception in Prince Cameron's Fight Sprite. And yes, Prince Cameron is indeed strong enough to swing that heavy sword around easily one handed though she disguises the fact it is a two handed blade with the sweep and knuckle bow design which you normally only see on single or one and a half hand blades. In addition the long flowing cuffs on her sleeves that she rolls down when fighting hide her hands and the true length of the grip. This way people underestimate her strength in battle, thinking that the sword is an ordinary regular blade until she decides to use its full weight against them.
