Hay guys! For the month of October there will be lots of new Suitors artwork, revisits of old artwork (depending on which social media you follow) and new updates to the website Suitors - A Fall to Rise!
Suitors is an Alaskan made fantasy with multiple different endings that range from happy Disney Princess to oh my god how did we end up in Berserk or Game of Thrones!? The plan is when we launch it, there will be just three mostly family safe endings but you can get free downloadable patches for the more exotic, brutal, and/or lewd endings after purchase of the initial game or we will have two versions all together, one that is family safe with multiple endings and one that is not with more adult themed and content heavy multiple endings. We're still working out some of the details with both or coder and publisher.
I have a lot of people asking how much goes into the sprite designs and other artworks for Suitors so thought I'd share some pages from the sketchbooks. When figuring out a pose, like for Prince Cameron's Fight Sprite, after spending some time studying the particular type of fighting style they'd probably use, I do tons of fast, messy warm up sketches. Pages and pages. And a lot of them look horrible. This is a collection of some of the best ones. You might notice the pose that later was actually finally used. And the remaining sketches won't go to waste. One might be just the thing for some other bit of art I work on later. You never know.
