Hay guys! Sorry I did not post anything yesterday, a serve migraine had me down for the count, so posting today instead!

For the month of October there will be lots of new Suitors artwork, revisits of old artwork (depending on which social media you follow) and new updates to the website Suitors - A Fall to Rise!

Suitors is an Alaskan made fantasy with multiple different endings that range from happy Disney Princess to oh my god how did we end up in Berserk or Game of Thrones!? The plan is when we launch it, there will be just three mostly family safe endings but you can get free downloadable patches for the more exotic, brutal, and/or lewd endings after purchase of the initial game or we will have two versions all together, one that is family safe with multiple endings and one that is not with more adult themed and content heavy multiple endings. We're still working out some of the details with both or coder and publisher.

I have a lot of people asking how much goes into the sprite designs and other artworks for Suitors so thought I'd share some pages from the sketchbooks. I put a lot of attention in detail in both the clothing and accessories and tools because even though this is fantasy, I want things to still be believable and to match the individual character's personality and skills in addition to the culture and type of people they come from. Even things like swords and the fighting styles of each character get thought out. How much of all that will actually end up in the game is another matter.

Harold's sword was meant to reflect his more modern and progressive views and a willingness to experiment that stand out even in Dale which is considered more advanced then many of the other kingdoms. We wanted a fencing sword with a pistol grip that could be useful both on horse and on foot. I looked at a lot of old 1900s British cavalry swords, sabers in general and a lots of different combat and tactical knives. It was actually my husband that eventually came up with the current design. Harold's fighting style relies on flexibility much more modern fencing schools of thought. Open, simple, elegant but practical.
