The Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year is fast approaching! Something I have long celebrated even before I met my part Taiwanese hubby. ;P
So in honor of that I will be revisiting Chinese zodiac inspired drawings for the next six days. There might even be something new on the last day!

I took a very old pencil sketch from 2009, inked it and colored it using new watercolor brushes in Photoshop. Plus this is my husband's year. And this lovable goofball tiger reminds me so much of my hubby. Tora-Hu, Tiger-Tiger, burning bright.... 300 pounds of muscled killing machine... but still a fluffy house cat. And of course, lil miss symbology that I am, I have to toss in bamboo and sunflowers to round it all off. ;P
