This is the process I went through when creating By the Fire in a nutshell for those that like to see such things. Lines in Illustrator. Then flats, shading and light effects in Photoshop.
By the Fire was one of my earlier hentai images. I made a lot of mistakes with it. I didn't start with a pencil or photoshop sketch. I was just learning the disadvantages and advantages of using my art figurines more then photos of actual people or actual live models as reference. I had never drawn three characters together in such a complicated pose before. I did not do my customary page of math to make sure the perspective was correct first. It was only my second time drawing 'waterworks'. And I was still learning how to do 'lighting effects' without actually using the Photoshop lighting effects and lens flares.
In short, I probably bit off way more then I could chew. But that all in mind, I still think it is not to bad for an early attempt and I honestly think Rinka's eyes are some of the best I've done and I still like her expression. It was a great learning piece. I may revisit it someday in the future.
This will be moved to scraps later.

- There will be SOME kind of content for you every single week, uploaded sometime in the weekend. I aim for Friday night or Saturday morning for the upload, so keep an eye out!
- I'm making sure to have at least one completely finished artwork every single month. I can't guarantee exactly when in the month it will be, but there will be one finished!
