One of the background stills for Suitors - A Fall to Rise, an Alaskan made Visual Novel I'm working on. My hand cramped so much while doing this. Most of the textures are hand drawn, not brushes or masks, in Photoshop. The level of detail and realism inspired by anime's such as Berserk. I tried give an impression of rolling grazing hills and mountains based off of resource pictures of various European mountain ranges, various Asian mountain ranges and the view right here looking out side my front window. Alaska has some gorgeous mountains. Its suppose to represent a typical countryside for Mendia, the Kingdom Princess Sia is from.
