Adult Art (aka PORN)

New art on both Tumblr and Hentai Foundry! NOT work safe in ANY stretch of the imagination (unless you work in a porn shop maybe).

Yes I do draw Adult Art from time to time. Mostly commissions.  Want to see other stuff? Commission non-adult art! I need a break! Please?

Don't get me wrong by the way. There was a time in my life that I honestly thought I'd NEVER draw right out porn. The closest I got was tasteful nudes, a few pin ups and images with some sexual tension in them like Embracing Insanity (not work safe, there are boobies and a bare bum) and Dangerous Muse.  But no actual crossing of any lines.

And I REALLY agonized (okay it was a complete and total ethical, moral, self image, and financial need fueled hysterical break down) for a long time ever the decision to start creating adult art. A long time means I was a miserable winey pest for a full week by the way. My biggest concern was actually how family would take it of all things. I may be completely dead wrong about this, and I apologize if it insults any one, but I imagine my fear, anxiety and worry about telling my parents, "Yes your daughter will be drawing porn" was similar to some of the fear and anxiety a person of an alternative gender or sexual orientation feels coming out to their family. Note I used the word 'imagine' deliberately since I am as straight as straight gets sexually. And mind that just because being bi or lesbian is not my personal cup of tea, I don't care if it is the best cup of tea in the world for any one else. Your tea is your tea, my tea is me tea. We do not have to share cups.

Thankfully my parents' responses were surprisingly (shockingly so, I did drop the phone) supportive. They honestly did not care as long as I got paid for my art work.

Now I am still very shy about advertising or mentioning the fact I will draw Adult Art (in fact I put off posting this little rant for several weeks because of it). However, I am slowly getting far more comfortable with it, especially as my anatomy and sense of perspective has improved in insane leaps and bounds since I started taking Adult Art commissions. Its really good practice (and good money as a bonus).

I am actually becoming far more confident in my art work as a whole thanks to Adult Art.

So when I say I need a break from the Adult Art, its not because I dislike it. Its simply because I am an artist of MANY talents, and I like to mix things up a bit.

So commission me damn it!
