WOOT! WARHAMMER MONTH IS UPON US!
And..... I got WAY
WAY to artsy fartsy with this one. Like usual for me, a lot of
inspiration from professional dancers, theater, cirque du soleil,
gymnasts, ballet, ice skaters, aerialist, and the like. Though
commissioned, it turned half into a personal piece. There was a lot of
experimenting that went on in this one even if you can't necessarily see
it in the finished version.
So.... Isha, eldar goddess of
harvest, fertility, life, healing and growth (aka the divine mother)
dancing with the chaos gods Slaanesh, god of excess and pleasure (aka
god of sex, drugs and rock and roll), and Nurgle, god of decay and
rebirth (aka Papa Nurgle) in a pas de deux (I hope I got the right
ballet term, please correct me if I did not) as the two chaos gods
compete for her.
