Princess Tutu was one of those shows I enjoyed not only for the art and story but all the wonderful little nods to both classic ballet, classical music, and old fairy tales. Yes there were parts that made me faceplam and groan and wonder why I was watching this stupidity. Yes the magic girl troupe tends to annoy me. However there was enough art work and a healthy enough dose of 'dark' in there to keep me interested. The ending was mildly disappointing but no were near as bad as many anime I have watched in the past three years. This show reminded me of the poor, neglected girly side of my personality I like to pretend is not there. I admit Princess Tutu has become a guilty pleasure.
